Your first session
How to do the light test
- Charge the mask fully first.
- Place the mask on the inside of your arm and switch it on.
- Press the Brighten button, then press it twice more so it is on the high level.
- Leave it on your arm for the full 10 minutes. It switches itself off at the end.
- If your skin turns red or itchy, your skin may be sensitive to light. Please do not use the mask, and speak to a dermatologist or your GP.
Unboxing your LED Face Mask
What comes in the box, from the mask and eye shields to the controller and straps.
What's in the box
Controller or cable lost or damaged? A replacement set for this mask is sold on its own: LED Mask Remote & Charging Cable.
The mask and everything with it
The mask, the controller, the charging cable, the two eye shields and the straps.
The three modes
The controller has a power button and one button for each mode. Each mode is its own light setting. Choose the one that suits your skin on the day.
| Mode button | What the manual says it is for | Session |
|---|---|---|
| Clear Acne | Blemish-prone, oily-looking skin | 10 minutes |
| Brighten | The look of dull skin and uneven tone | 10 minutes |
| Redness | Skin that looks red or feels irritated | 10 minutes |
The mask has these three modes only. There is no separate button for other concerns.
Changing mode starts a fresh 10 minutes. Each mode switches itself off after 10 minutes.
Start on low and move up a level as your skin gets used to it.
The controller
The power button sits above the three mode buttons: Clear Acne, Brighten and Redness, from top to bottom.
How often to use it
Slight redness after a session is normal and should settle within 1 to 2 hours. If you feel burning or discomfort, stop straight away.
Do not use the mask on the same area for long periods, or over and over in one go.
When will I see a difference? Results build gradually and everyone's skin is different. Many customers tell us they notice a change in how their skin looks after 2 to 4 weeks of regular sessions.

Charging
Before your first session, or after a long time unused, charge it fully and check the buttons and lights work.
After 5 hours, unplug the cable and check the battery level. It should show full.

Something not right?
Will not switch on or charge? Check these in order:
- It may simply need charging. Charge it for about 4 to 5 hours.
- Use the USB cable from the box. Other chargers and cables can affect charging.
- Push the USB end fully into the charging port on the controller. Sometimes it is not quite all the way in.
- To use it, unplug the charging cable and check the controller cable is pushed fully into the mask.
- Hold the power button for a full 2 seconds.
- Still not working after 8 to 10 hours of charging? Contact us with a short video of what happens when you charge it and press the power button. It helps us sort it out quickly.

Your questions, answered
What does each mode do?
Each mode is a separate light setting. Clear Acne is the one for blemish-prone, oily-looking skin. Brighten is for the look of dull skin and uneven tone. Redness is for skin that looks red or feels irritated. Every mode has three levels, so you can start low and build up.
How often should I use it?
2 to 3 times a week, for 10 minutes a session. The mask switches itself off when the 10 minutes are up.
I have sensitive skin. Where do I start?
Do the light test on your arm first. Then start on the lowest level and move up as your skin gets used to it. Slight redness after a session is normal and usually fades within 1 to 2 hours. If you feel burning or discomfort, stop straight away.
Can I use it with my skincare?
Use the mask on clean, bare skin. Take off all make-up, creams, serums and sunscreen first, as some ingredients can make skin more sensitive to light. Put your moisturiser or serum on after the session.
Do I need to wear the eye shields?
Yes, every time. Fit them into the mask before you switch on, and never look straight at the lights.
Can I use it while it charges?
No. The mask cannot be used while it is charging. Charge it fully, unplug the cable, then connect the controller to the mask.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge takes about 4 to 5 hours with the cable from the box. The 3000mAh battery lasts for several sessions between charges.
Why did it switch off?
Each mode runs for 10 minutes and then the mask switches itself off. Choosing a different mode starts a new 10 minutes.
I have lost the controller. Can I buy a new one?
Yes. The LED Mask Remote & Charging Cable set has a replacement controller and USB cable for this mask.
What is the warranty?
Your mask has a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing faults under normal use. If it develops a fault, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or repair. We are a UK-based team, real people rather than bots.
