How to Use

Before You Start

Shave the area you want to treat. Skin should be clean, dry, and free from any creams, oils, or makeup. Do not apply aloe gel or other products before using the device.
If this is your first time, do a patch test first. Choose a small area near where you plan to treat, flash once on the lowest setting, and wait 24 hours to check for any reaction.

Getting Started

Plug the adapter into the mains and connect it to the device.
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on. The device defaults to level 1 (lowest intensity).
Short press the power button to increase the intensity level. There are 5 levels. Start at 1-2 for your first few sessions, then increase to 3-5 as your skin adjusts. Higher levels deliver better results.

Treating an Area

Place the light head flat against your skin. The built-in sensor will only allow the device to fire when it detects full skin contact.
Manual mode: Press the firing button once for each flash. Best for small or precise areas like the upper lip, chin, or bikini line.
Automatic glide mode: Press and hold the firing button for 3 seconds to activate. The device flashes continuously as you glide slowly across the skin. Best for larger areas like legs and arms.
For best results, flash each area 3 times per session. Do not flash the same exact spot 3 times in a row. Instead, treat the full area once, then go back for a second and third pass.

Using the Ice-Cooling Function

Press the power button and firing button at the same time to turn on the cooling function. The cooling indicator light will turn on.
You can use the cooling function during treatment for added comfort, or after treatment to soothe the skin.
To turn off cooling, press both buttons again.

Treatment Schedule

Weeks 1-4: Use 2-3 times per week
Weeks 5-6: Use 2 times per week
Weeks 7-8: Use 1 time per week
Week 8 onwards: Use 1-2 times per week as needed for maintenance

After Treatment

Mild redness, tingling, or warmth is normal and will subside quickly.
Wait at least 2 hours before applying lotions, creams, deodorant, or cosmetics to the treated area.
Moisturise your skin and use sunscreen after treatment. Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks after use.
To turn off the device, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds and unplug.

Important Notes

IPL works best on dark hair with light to medium skin tones. It is not effective on white, grey, blonde, or red hair.
Do not use on tattoos, moles, or broken skin.
Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have been in direct sunlight in the past 2 weeks.
Do not look directly at the flash. Use the included safety goggles if you are sensitive to bright light.
The device is not waterproof. Do not use in the bathroom or shower.
Replace or clean the light outlet with a cotton swab and medical alcohol after each use.
