Getting started
Which mode should I use?
There are 5 cleaning modes, and each one has 5 intensity levels - 25 combinations in all. Start low and work up until it feels right. There's no wrong choice, so try a few and settle on what suits your teeth and gums.
What the display is telling you
The little screen on the handle keeps you in the loop while you brush.
Don't take the score too seriously - it's there to keep you honest, not to grade you. A steady, gentle two minutes twice a day is what matters.
Charging and battery
Charge it with the USB-C cable included - about 6 hours for a full charge from flat. Use a standard 5V1A plug (the sort most phone chargers use); you don't need anything more powerful. A full charge lasts 2 to 3 weeks of brushing twice a day, and the display shows the battery level so you can top it up before it runs out.
Your daily routine
Brush twice a day, morning and night, for the full 2 minutes each time. Hold the bristles at a 45-degree angle where your teeth meet your gums and let the vibrations do the work - no scrubbing, no leaning on it. The 30-second pauses walk you round the four corners of your mouth, so nothing gets skipped.
Replacing the brush head
Change the head every 2 to 3 months, or sooner if the bristles start to splay out or lose their shape - worn bristles clean far less well, so it's worth staying on top of. Pull the old head straight off the handle and push the new one on, remembering that small 1mm gap. Your brush comes with a spare head to get you started, and replacement heads (they use DuPont bristles) are sold separately on our website in multi-packs.
Care and cleaning
After brushing, switch it off before taking it out of your mouth, then rinse the head under running water and shake off the excess. Wipe the handle down with a soft, damp cloth. It's IPX7 waterproof - happy in the shower and fully submersible - but still dry it before charging and keep the charging flap closed. Don't put it through the dishwasher or into boiling water, and store it standing upright somewhere it can air-dry between uses.

Something not right?
Your questions, answered
Which mode should I use day to day?
Clean is the everyday default and where most people stay. Reach for Sensitive if your gums are tender or you're just getting used to the brush, White when you fancy polishing off surface stains, Refresh for a quick freshen-up, and Gum Care for a gentle massage along the gumline. Each has 5 intensity levels, so start low and adjust until it feels comfortable.
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
A full charge lasts around 2 to 3 weeks of brushing twice a day. It charges over USB-C with the cable in the box - roughly 6 hours from flat - and a standard 5V1A phone-style plug is all you need. The display shows the battery level so you can top it up before it runs down.
How often should I replace the brush head?
Every 2 to 3 months, or sooner if the bristles start to splay or lose their shape. Worn bristles don't clean as well, so it's worth keeping a spare to hand. Replacement heads are sold separately on our website in multi-packs.
Can I use it in the shower?
Yes. It has an IPX7 waterproof rating, which means it can be fully submerged in water up to a metre deep for 30 minutes, so a shower is no problem at all. Afterwards, rinse the head, wipe the handle dry, and make sure the charging flap is closed before you charge it.
My gums feel a bit tender at first. Is that normal?
Usually, yes. A little tingling or mild sensitivity in the first week or two is normal while your gums adjust to the sonic vibration, and it settles down. In the meantime, switch to Sensitive mode on a low intensity and let it do the work without pressing. If the tenderness carries on beyond a couple of weeks, check in with your dentist.
I'm switching from a round-head electric toothbrush. Will it feel different?
It will feel different, yes. A sonic brush vibrates at high frequency rather than rotating, so it's more of a gentle buzz than a scrubbing motion. Most people get used to it within a few days. If it feels ticklish to begin with, start on Sensitive at the lowest level and work up gradually.
How hard should I press while brushing?
Barely at all. The whole idea of a sonic brush is that the vibrations clean for you, so just guide it slowly along your teeth and gumline at a 45-degree angle. Pressing hard doesn't clean better and can be tough on your gums over time.
What's in the box?
The toothbrush handle, 2 brush heads (one fitted, one spare), a hard-shell travel case, a USB-C charging cable, and a user manual. It comes in White or Black, with a 1-year warranty. Some variants add a set of replacement heads on top.
